The BEST mashed potatoes
This is where my horn tooting comes in. That sounds bad. My mashed potatoes are the best? But yes ( toot toot). They are. Everyone loves them, prefers them. Creamy, rich and tons of flavor. THE BEST.
Sweet Italian Dressing
Savory. Sweet. A touch of spice. The trifecta of dressings 🙌🏻 I mean what else can I say? Except hurry up and make a big ol' bowl of salad and get to pourin'.
Chris’ White Guy Salsa
Why did I name it Chris' white guy salsa? My good friend Chris swears it's better than any jarred salsa he's ever had. But let's face it, it's anything but authentic as far as how it's made! But in taste? It lacks nothing of it's authentic competitors. Best part is, most of the ingredients are canned, so it's super simple to mix a up a batch just in time for taco Tuesday.
Morgan’s Italian Soup
My husband often raves about my food. Sometimes, we are able to package extra's up and send them to his coworkers for lunch. This particular lunch, his coworker RAVED over. Made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. So how could I not name it after him? It's like great pasta, in a creamy, soupy form. Comfort food, cold weather food, coworker approved food. Thank you Morgan, for loving my recipes and giving this soup a name!
Ina’s Pot roast
No, not Ina garten, but my Ina. Kari, my good friend, that I have lovingly nicknamed Ina, due to her amazing culinary skills. I usually don't like pot roast, but had one bite of her recipe, and it was a game changer. Balsamic, honey, garlic and other goodies and oh my, taste bud heaven. Fantastic as leftovers, reprurposed into a roast beef sandwich, toasted with provolone.
Twice the Turkey Chili
It's like chili. But with turkey, twice the turkey. So hearty, you won't notice that it's not beef AND healthy. Serve by itself or even over rice. A little spoonful of sour cream, a little cheese..comfort food at it's finest.
5 minute Caesar Dresing
I know it’s super easy to grab that bottle of dressing at the grocery store, but why, when in 5 minutes or less you could have from scratch homemade dressing? I mean fresh garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce.. who wouldn’t want a homemade, creamy you -know -what- all -of -the -ingredients -are, because YOU made it, dressing? That’s what I thought. Pair with my garlic bread croutons and you’ve got Caesar salad heaven.
Spaghetti Bolognese
This right here, is an all time family favorite. It was even our daughter's requested last dinner before leaving for Navy Bootcamp. It's not a quick meal, but that's why I make this double batch and freeze leftovers, so you have a from scratch bolognese for other meals on those days when you are busy. All the taste, and the work was done another day.
Savory Mayo
I love mayo. Like a lot. Mayo with fresh herbs and spices, yes please.
Garlic Parmesan Rice
Rice with that little extra somethin'. Creamy and cheesy and even a little lemon squeezy.
