Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs Ground turkey
- 2 tsp Onion salt
- 2 Green bell peppers Diced
- 1 Onion Diced
- 1 tsp Olive oil
- 2 cloves Garlic Minced
- 2 cans Petite diced tomatoes 14.5
- 1 can Tomato sauce 14.5
- 16 oz Chicken stock or broth
- 1/2 tsp Basil Dried
- 1/4 tsp Oregano Dried
- 1/2 tsp Chili flakes
- 1 tsp Dried parsley
- 2 cups White or brown rice Cooked and set aside
Instructions

In a soup pot, add turkey and onion salt. Brown, set aside onto a plate.

To the same pot, add olive oil, bell pepper and onion. Saute 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook one minute.

Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chicken broth, basil, oregano, chili flakes and parsley. Bring to a boil and then turn down to a simmer. Simmer 30 minutes.

While soup is simmering, make your preferred rice.

Into a soup bowl, add about a 1/2 cup rice and desired amount of soup.
