Mango Ginger Meatballs
Easy, two ingredient appetizer that could double as a meal. A little sweet, a little heat and whole lot of your mouth asking for more!
Ingredients
- 24 Meatballs Frozen & fully cooked
- 1/2 Cup Water
- 1-2 Mango Ginger Chutney sauce Trader Joe's brand, 9 oz
- Minced chives Optional
- Toothpicks Optional
Instructions

Place a large saute pan with coordinating lid on medium heat. (Lid off)

Add meatballs and water. Place lid on pan. Occasionally shake pan around over heat (pan shouldn't leave stove top), to allow the meatballs to roll around a bit and steam evenly. Cook 5 minutes.

Remove lid. Cook an additional five minutes, allowing liquid to evaporate and meatballs to brown. Continue to shake the pan a bit to ensure even browning.

Lower heat to a simmer. Add 1- 2 jars of sauce (according to your preference of sauciness). Gently stir to coat meatballs.

Sprinkle minced chives over the meatballs (optional).
Serve on a platter with toothpicks inserted.
May also be transferred to a slow cooker on warm setting to keep warm for guests.
Serve over a bed of rice, and this doubles as a meal!
