Peach Ice Cream
Peach Ice Cream
Fruit and ice cream just go together, don't you think? So rich and so creamy, what I love about this peach ice cream is that it requires little effort and you can use fresh peaches if they're in season or can substitute canned! An ice cream maker makes this decadent frozen dessert super easy!
Ingredients
Peach puree
- 5 Peaches Peeled and diced (OR 1 can peaches in syrup, to equal one cup pureed. Skip homemade peach puree steps and head straight to pureeing the canned peaches).
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1/8 tsp Cinnamon
Cream Mixture
- 2 cups Heavy Cream
- 1 cup 2% Milk
- 1/2-3/4 cup Sugar Depending how sweet you like it.
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1/8 tsp Cinnamon
Instructions
-
Add diced peaches, sugar and vanilla to a sauce pot. Cook on a low heat for 10 minutes.
-
Remove from heat, add cinnamon.
-
Using a handheld immersion blender, blend peaches until MOSTLY pureed. You can leave LITTLE pieces, but bigger pieces will result in frozen chunks that are hard to eat.
-
Add cinnamon.
-
Transfer to a bowl and refrigerate until cool
Cream Mixture
-
In a bowl, combine heavy cream milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Whisk to combine.
