Homemade Mayo

I love mayo. Seriously. When I order a sandwich, EXTRA MAYO. I always thought it was hard to make. Turns out, it takes literally a few minutes to make. So why wouldn't you?! A few ingredients and a hand held immersion blender and you have fresh mayo. YUM.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Grape seed oil
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 Egg

Instructions

  1. In a mason jar, combine all ingredients. Place immersion blender directly on top of egg, and blend well. Begin moving blender up until oil disappears.

    Chill.

    Keep for 4 days.
