Aloha Banana Bread
Banana bread, with a twist! Sweet chunks of pineapple add sweetness and moisture, making this banana bread that much more decadent.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Melted Butter
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/2 cup Dark Brown Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 4 Very Ripe Bananas
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 cup Pineapple Tid Bits Drained
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350

Spray a loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.

Dust loaf pan with sugar.

In a medium sized bowl, mix flour and baking soda. Set aside.

Using a hand mixer, mix melted butter, sugar and brown sugar. Add eggs, mix until well beaten. Add bananas, until well blended. Add vanilla, mix well.

Add flour mixture that was set aside, a little at a time, until blended.

With a large spoon, fold in drained pineapple.

Transfer batter into loaf pan.

Sprinkle batter with more sugar.

Bake for 40-60 minutes, just until a butter knife inserted comes out clean. you want it cooked, but moist. It will continue to bake after emoting from the oven.

Once cooled, turn over by hand on to a plate and store for serving, however you prefer.
